This role is rare – the client is a small group of investors who are looking for a Finance Manager to help them research, assess, acquire, and grow a portfolio of businesses. The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial Finance Manager who is looking for a more strategic role and likes working with OMB’s / SME’s. This role will be incredibly varied but will give the right person the opportunity to be more heavily involved in business strategy.
About you…
You will be a qualified accountant and will have previously supported or worked in an entrepreneurial and acquisitive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Work alongside owner and shareholders to review financials of target companies as well as existing business interests
Provide financial analysis and insight to aid strategic decisions
Work with bookkeeper to manage finance function
Ability to work across various sectors
What We Are Looking For?
Qualified Accountant (ACCA / CIMA/ ACA)
Strong analytical skills
Previous experience helping to buy, grow and support businesses
Strong Excel Skills (lookups, pivots etc.).
Excellent communication skills for both financial and non-financial audiences.
