Our client is a long-established and highly respected private company. They have successfully delivered across the UK and built a wonderful reputation for its quality of service and honorable business principles.
Due to the planned retirement of the Finance Director, they are looking to appoint a progressive, high calibre Financial Controller, with a clear remit for the successful individual to build their reputation with the executive team and be rewarded with a position on the Board.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will take full responsibility for the financial management of the business. The Board will rely heavily on the financial scrutiny performed by the FC, it is a responsible position that truly facilitates effective management decision making.
Key Responsibilities
There will be a regular liaison with other operational and support departments, in particular, a close relationship will evolve with the operations and commercial directors.
The successful candidate must have an ACA, ACCA, ACMA qualification, with experience working in the commercial/industrial sector. Construction sector experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
