An established FMCG brand are seeking a new Head of UK Sales to set a strategy and manage a team to meet the growth strategy of the portfolio of household-name food brands.
Key Responsibilities
Your Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy: Design and deliver a highly effective sales plan for both Grocery Multiples (major supermarkets) and Convenience channels.
Account Management: Lead Joint Business Plans (JBP) and negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotions with key retail buyers.
Team Leadership: Coach, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of National Account Managers (NAMs).
P&L Ownership: Manage the channel budgets. Drive both volume and value growth while protecting profit margins.
Cross-Functional Work: Partner with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure smooth product launches and stock availability.
What We Are Looking For?
About You
Experience: Proven track record in a senior sales role (e.g., Controller or Head of Sales) within the UK food FMCG sector.
Channel Knowledge: Deep understanding of selling through major Grocery Multiples and the Convenience/Impulse retail landscape.
Commercial Acumen: Strong negotiator, highly analytical, and capable of using category data to win new business.
Leadership: A natural leader who knows how to build accountability and empower teams to exceed sales targets.
